In green Umbria, on the hills of Trasimeno Lake, organic extra-virgin olive oil Casale Il Picchio is born, a result of the fruit of the Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino trees. This oil is produced only from healthy olives, harvested when ripe. The very low acidity and high antioxidant content, combined with the fruity taste, full and fragrant, means the extra virgin Casale il Picchio is ideal for the Mediterranean diet. It is an excellent condiment with vegetables, meat, fish and soups, bringing out and enhancing the flavours of each dish. We produce bottles of 25 cl, 50 cl and 75 cl and 5 l can of our organic extra virgin olive oil, which are available to buy.
The vineyard was planted in 1999 and cultivated with love and extreme attention, so as to achieve excellent results.
It enjoys an exposure and a perfect soil climate in which the vine, soil, microclimate and cultivation techniques offer the best results.
